Chatsworth is a well established award winning private home. The proprietors and Manager have many years experience in the care sector and pride themselves on the high standards and warm welcoming homely atmosphere.

The current awards that we hold are The Dementia Quality Mark, Six Steps to Success (End of life care), Innovation in Quality Assurance in Care Homes and Innovation and Good Practice in Health and Wellbeing in Care Homes. Throughout our many CQC inspections over the years we have always been rated as a good home in all categories.

Chatsworth has well trained staff who are dedicated  in ensuring that the residents are treated and assisted with privacy, dignity and respect at all times—as well as ensuring they are safe and happy.
Chatsworth is in an excellent location which has bus stops right outside and is in very close vicinity to local shops, parks and churches as well as Plymouth City Centre.

Although we are a privately run home we do also accept Local authority payments and voucher scheme payments, we do not ask a third party top up from relatives.

We cater for 26 residents all with various different ailments and illnesses which may include Dementia, Stroke, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, Physical disabilities as well as providing Palliative care for our residents who are at End of Life. A majority of our residents have Dementia although all at different stages of the illness.

Chatsworth is a very diverse home which ensures that we adapt to our residents ever changing care needs, this enables us to ensure that the care we provide is person centred to each individual resident—we feel it is important to base our care around the residents wants and needs rather than the resident fitting in with our routines. We strive to encourage a full and active lifestyle where possible.
